Polmartin Riding Ltd operates as a British Horse Society approved riding school and trekking centre on the edge of Liskeard in Cornwall. Tuition is available for riders across the ability range, with structured lessons for beginners and ongoing development for more experienced riders. The school also teaches children and runs a Saturday Club, with sessions priced from GBP 30 for members on a half day basis. Riders looking to work towards formal qualifications can access British Horse Society training through the centre's approved status as both a riding school and a training centre.
For those wanting time in the saddle away from an arena, hacking and trekking are offered across the surrounding Cornish countryside. Lessons and treks cover dressage, endurance and trekking disciplines, giving riders a broad base of experience under instruction. Group bookings are catered for through birthday parties, school and youth group sessions, and dedicated courses that have previously attracted actors needing to ride confidently on camera.
The facilities include an outdoor arena with an all-weather surface and outdoor lighting, allowing lessons and training to continue when conditions are poor or when daylight is limited. On-site accommodation in Shepherd's Huts extends the appeal of the centre to visitors who want to combine a stay in Cornwall with several days of riding. Floodlit evening sessions are available, subject to arrangement.
Polmartin Riding Ltd is located at postcode PL14 4RE within the South West of England, within easy reach of Liskeard.
