Old Tiger Stables operates as an ABRS-approved riding school and livery yard on a 26-acre site near Soham in Cambridgeshire. The school delivers lessons from beginner level through to advanced, covering dressage, show jumping and eventing. Riders can also take part in hacking, ABRS and Pony Club training, and an on-site equine-assisted wellbeing service known as Little Gems.
The yard caters for a wide range of clients. Beginners and children are taught alongside more experienced riders, and the school holds Pony Club centre status and is an RDA approved centre, supporting accessible riding. Birthday parties are hosted on site, and the school runs apprenticeship and training courses through KETTS Training Centre. Stable management is offered as a standalone subject, with 30 minute sessions from GBP 15, and introductory riding lessons start from GBP 40 for two or more riders or GBP 46 for a single rider.
Facilities include a floodlit outdoor arena, a covered area, a horsewalker, stabling, storage areas and CCTV across the site. There is a classroom and reception area, parking and toilets for visitors. The site is set in 26 acres of Cambridgeshire countryside, providing hacking directly from the yard. Cambridgeshire County Council quality assurance sits alongside ABRS approval.
Livery services cover full, working and DIY options. Riders and liveries can access Pony Club centre activities, ABRS qualifications and the wellbeing sessions run on site. Old Tiger Stables combines a working livery yard with a busy lesson programme, serving the Soham area and the wider Cambridgeshire riding community.
