Grove House Farm Equestrian is a professional centre in Spexhall, Suffolk, run by event rider Laura Meadows. The site is set up primarily around two floodlit outdoor arenas, both of which are available to hire for private schooling and for use during clinics and competitions. Arena Two, used for jumping, can be booked from £15 per hour.
The 60 metre by 20 metre dressage and flatwork arena and the 60 metre by 30 metre showjumping arena are both all-weather surfaces, so year-round riding is possible in daylight or after dark. Riders can book the arenas to work on dressage movements, flatwork or jumping in their own time. Regular clinics are also hosted, giving riders access to outside coaches alongside the home team. The full range of disciplines on offer is dressage, flatwork, hacking and show jumping.
Livery is the other main service and covers full, competition, schooling, holiday and breaking packages, managed on site by a professional event rider. Horses are kept on a yard with automatic water drinkers, individual tack rooms and a horse walker, and the grounds include CCTV, on-site car parking and lorry parking for visitors. Riders and owners have use of a lounge area, a lecture room and a judges' box during schooling sessions and shows. Hacking is available from the yard, allowing riders to take horses out on local routes.
Open seven days a week from 7am to 9pm, Grove House Farm Equestrian accommodates both regular liveries and arena-hire customers. The postcode is IP19 0RR and the centre lies within the East of England. Anyone interested in booking an arena slot, booking a livery place or attending a clinic should contact the centre directly for availability and current rates.
