Sovereign Quarter Horses

Based in March, Cambridgeshire, Sovereign Quarter Horses operates as a licensed western riding establishment with a focus on American Quarter Horse disciplines. The school runs western riding lessons alongside horse training, clinics and demonstrations, and also breeds American Quarter Horses on site. Experience days are available for those wanting an introduction to western riding, while horse sales and venue hire broaden the school's offer beyond regular tuition.

The venue caters to adults only and welcomes complete beginners, making it accessible to riders with no prior experience. Western riding and dressage are the two disciplines taught, with lessons available Monday to Friday. Prices start at GBP 60 for a one hour private lesson on a rider's own horse, with sessions on school horses listed at GBP 75 and GBP 90 per hour depending on the page consulted.

Riding takes place in both a 30m x 60m indoor arena and a matching 30m x 60m outdoor arena, with floodlighting supporting year round use. The site includes 19 permanent indoor stables plus temporary stabling for more than 150 horses, parking for cars and horseboxes, electric hook up, showers and toilets, and on-site camping for visitors bringing horses or attending longer events. A gallery cafe and licensed bar are also on the premises, and the school hosts shows, holiday camps and clinics throughout the year.

The shop at Sovereign Quarter Horses is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 4pm. Lessons are scheduled Monday to Friday, and prospective riders are advised to contact the school directly to arrange bookings and confirm availability. As a licensed establishment in the East of England, the venue provides a setting aimed at riders seeking western style tuition, breed specific instruction or simply a structured introduction to horse riding in Cambridgeshire.
