Easter Hall Park Riding School operates across 200 acres in Petrockstow, North Devon, providing a broad range of equestrian activities under the instruction of BHS-qualified staff. The school is licensed by Torridge District Council and holds British Horse Society recognition, alongside memberships with the British Driving Society, Great Western Harness Club, and Haddon Training. It also serves as a registered NVQ assessment centre, giving learners a structured pathway through formal qualifications while they ride.
Lessons cover riding, carriage driving, and a wide spread of disciplines including dressage, show jumping, cross country, hacking, and trekking. Children are catered for through Pony Club training, pony parties, and own-a-pony days, while holiday camps and birthday parties run throughout the year. Adults and complete beginners can take private or group tuition, and more experienced riders are supported with breaking and training, plus facility hire for those wishing to school their own horses in the arenas. A dedicated carriage driving obstacle course sits alongside the standard jump equipment.
The site is equipped with both an indoor arena and an outdoor arena, allowing lessons to continue regardless of weather, and full stabling is available for liveries. Hacking is offered directly from the property, taking advantage of the surrounding Devon countryside. Livery services include full, part, and retirement options, making the yard suitable for owners at different stages of their horse's life.
Easter Hall Park serves as a Pony Club centre and is registered as an NVQ assessment centre, so riders working towards formal qualifications can complete their assessments on site. On-site parking is provided for visitors and liveries. For current lesson availability, livery enquiries, or details of upcoming Pony Club events and camps, contact the school directly at the Petrockstow yard.
