Widmer Equestrian Centre Ltd

Widmer Equestrian Centre Ltd runs a riding school and livery yard from a 142 acre site in Lacey Green, on the edge of Princes Risborough in the Chiltern Hills. The centre teaches riders from age 4 upwards, with a programme that covers beginners through to more experienced competitors. Lessons are supported by a Pony Club centre, and the venue hosts regular camps and pony days during school holidays.

Riders can choose from a range of disciplines including dressage, show jumping, one day events, showing and para dressage. The centre runs rallies, clear round jumping sessions, gala events and demonstrations throughout the year. Hacking is available directly from the yard, taking advantage of the surrounding Chiltern Hills bridleways, and riders preparing for competition can take part in the shows hosted on site.

Facilities include a covered arena, an indoor arena and an outdoor arena, alongside stabling and grass turnout for the horses kept on the premises. A car park is provided for visitors and liveries. The centre also offers arena hire and an online booking system for lessons and events.

The yard holds British Horse Society approved status and is also BHS highly commended. Livery clients can select from DIY, part, full, grass and retirement packages. Opening hours run from Tuesday to Sunday, with the centre closed on Mondays. Widmer Equestrian Centre is located in Lacey Green, Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, postcode HP27 0PQ.
