Seagold Centurion Equestrian Centre

Seagold Centurion Equestrian Centre is a family-run riding school and event centre located in Crook, County Durham. Set within the North East of England, the centre caters to riders of all ages, with a particular emphasis on children and beginners taking their first steps in the saddle. Lessons are available in group and private formats, and the school welcomes newcomers alongside more experienced riders who want to develop their skills.

The centre runs a broad programme of activities beyond standard lessons. Riders can take part in dressage and show jumping competitions, attend clinics, join pony fun days, or book children's birthday parties starting from GBP 20.00 per rider. Pony Club activities are offered, and school holiday camps give children a chance to spend time around horses during breaks from school. Hacking is available for those who want to experience riding out in the surrounding countryside.

Facilities at the site include a large indoor arena and a floodlit outdoor arena, allowing lessons and training to continue in poor weather or after dark. A canter track, horse walker, stable blocks, show jumps and dressage markers support the daily running of the yard. Covered viewing areas, disabled access toilets and on-site CCTV are provided, and a tack shop is available on the premises for equipment and supplies.

Disciplines taught at the centre include dressage, eventing and show jumping, with instructors accredited through the ABRS and BHS. The centre is licensed and offers facility hire for outside events.
