Finchale Riding School is operated by S&G Equine Ltd as a livery yard, training centre and competition venue based in County Durham. Riders can take part in dressage, show jumping, showing, arena cross country and arena eventing, with the venue also hosting Trailblazers qualifiers. British Riding Clubs affiliation is held with Area 20 (WERC).
The facilities are built around an 80 by 40 metre floodlit outdoor arena, supported by American barn stabling, automatic drinkers, a horse walker and a wash box. A cross country schooling field is available for arena cross country and arena eventing work, and turn out paddocks sit alongside the yard. Visitors can use the on-site Nose Bag cafe, along with toilet and shower facilities.
Services cover the full yard routine alongside rider development. Livery packages are offered for owners, and the centre runs pony days, holiday camps, training days and training clinics. An on-site riding club is open to regular riders, and competitions are staged through the year. Facility hire is also available for those looking to book the arena or other amenities for their own use.
Set in the North East of England, the venue brings together a working livery yard with a busy competition and training calendar. Riders and owners can contact S&G Equine Ltd directly for further information on livery options, upcoming competitions, clinic dates and pony day bookings.
