Richard Hughes Racing operates as a family-run equestrian centre catering to a broad range of riders across West Berkshire. Lessons are available alongside a packed calendar of affiliated and unaffiliated competitions, training evenings and specialist clinics, making the venue a regular hub for the local horse community.
The centre provides instruction and competition opportunities across dressage, show jumping, showcross, showing and working hunter disciplines. Riders can compete at both British Riding Club and unaffiliated levels, and those wanting to improve their skills between events can attend structured training evenings or book onto clinics led by visiting specialists. Arena hire is offered for independent training, priced from GBP 30 per hour.
Three Cushion Track arenas give year-round schooling options, supported by outdoor grass arenas for those who prefer to work on a natural surface. An indoor arena allows training to continue regardless of the weather, while day and overnight stabling is available for competitors travelling with horses. Additional facilities include a cafe, ample parking and dedicated lorry and trailer parking for those attending events or clinics.
Stabling, arenas and event spaces are used throughout the year for dressage events, show jumping competitions and showing competitions, drawing regular competitors from across the South East. Riders wishing to enquire about lessons, arena hire, stabling or upcoming event dates should contact Richard Hughes Racing directly using the details published on the centre's official channels.
