Northallerton Equestrian Centre

Northallerton Equestrian Centre operates as a riding school and competition venue in North Yorkshire. Riders can book lessons on site and the centre runs affiliated dressage, affiliated show jumping, combined training, arena eventing and hunter trials. Competition entries are open to both members and non-members, giving riders a route into formal sport as well as informal practice days.

The facility supports a broad range of training disciplines, including dressage, show jumping, eventing, arena eventing and cross-country schooling. Riders looking to build their horse's confidence over fences can use the cross-country course or take part in hunter trials, while those focusing on flatwork have access to dedicated arenas. Lessons are available alongside arena hire and clinics, so the venue caters to both regular clients and visiting competitors.

Two outdoor arenas and a 72m by 30.5m indoor arena provide year-round riding space, with floodlighting extending usable hours. Supporting facilities include a heated viewing gallery, a judges box, a horse walker, a loose school and lunge pen, and spectator areas. Day and overnight stabling is offered for visiting horses, and a cafeteria, function rooms and a marquee cover catering and event needs. Full and DIY livery services are available for longer-term clients, with exercise and schooling included within the full livery option.

Set in the Yorkshire and the Humber region, Northallerton Equestrian Centre is within reach of Northallerton town and the surrounding rural area, making it accessible for riders across North Yorkshire. The combination of riding school services, livery options and a varied competition programme makes it a practical choice for owners, competitors and recreational riders. Contact details and the latest competition schedule are available directly from the centre.
