Howe Equestrian Centre is a family-run equestrian centre situated near Giffordtown in Fife, Scotland. The centre caters to riders across a range of abilities and interests, with a programme that combines regular lessons, training evenings and clinics alongside a busy calendar of events. Riders can take part in affiliated and unaffiliated competitions in dressage, show jumping, showcross, showing and working hunter, making it a versatile venue for both leisure riders and those with competitive goals.
Lessons are offered on site, and the centre runs training evenings that allow riders to practise in a structured group setting. Day stabling and overnight stabling are available, which is useful for owners travelling to clinics or competitions. Those with their own horses can take advantage of arena hire, with pricing starting from GBP 30 per hour, giving them access to the same surfaces used by the centre's own riders and competitors.
The facilities include one outdoor and two indoor arenas surfaced with Cushion Track, supported by outdoor grass arenas that are well suited to show jumping and working hunter practice. A cafe is on site for spectators and riders, and parking is available for cars and horse boxes. Stabling rounds off the practical offering for visitors bringing horses to events.
Howe Equestrian Centre was named Scottish Equestrian Awards Equestrian Facility of the Year in both 2017 and 2018. Located in Fife, it is within easy reach of riders from across the east of Scotland and beyond, and enquiries about lessons, arena hire, stabling or the events programme can be made by contacting the centre directly.
