WhiteGates Equestrian Centre is based at Rollestone Farm on the outskirts of Exeter in County Durham, set within the North East England region. The family-run yard combines livery services with a busy training venue that hosts regular show jumping, dressage and arena cross country clinics throughout the year.
Riders of all ages and abilities are catered for, with lessons available for children and adults. The centre runs clinics with visiting coaches as well as ongoing training sessions, including group show jumping clinics with Cameron Beer from £25 per rider for groups of up to three. BSJA accredited coach Mandy Frost is based at the yard, providing qualified show jumping tuition. Disciplines covered on site include arena XC, dressage, eventing, hacking and show jumping, giving riders the chance to develop across a broad range of activities.
The facilities centre around a 40 metre by 60 metre outdoor arena fitted with show jumps and a set of Jump 4 Joy arena XC fences. There is a covered wash box, a horse walker, secure tack rooms and a common room with kitchen and toilet for client use. Parking is available on site. Off-road hacking around the Rollestone Estate is offered during the summer months, providing a quieter riding option away from traffic.
Livery packages are a core part of the business, with full, part, DIY stabled and grass livery options on offer. Additional services include arena hire, ridden exercise and schooling, clipping, plaiting, tack cleaning and breeding. Enquiries about lessons, livery or upcoming clinics can be made by contacting the yard directly to discuss availability and pricing.
