Crofton Manor Equestrian Centre provides a wide range of equestrian services for riders and horse owners across Hampshire. The centre runs riding lessons, supervised hacks, livery packages, horse sharing schemes and pony experience sessions, giving riders of different ages and abilities a way to get involved with horses. Group and private lessons are available, and holiday camps run during school breaks, alongside pony stars sessions aimed at younger children.
Children are well catered for, with dedicated lessons, holiday camps and birthday parties taking place in a purpose built lecture and party room. Adult riders can take lessons across dressage, show jumping and hacking, while experienced sharers and liveries have access to individual turnout paddocks or same herd turnout to suit their horse's needs. The centre also runs stable management lessons for those who want to learn the practical side of horse care alongside riding.
The 30 acre site includes both indoor and outdoor arenas fitted with show jumps, a wash area and a solarium for warming up or cooling down horses. Off-road hacking is available from the centre, allowing riders to take lessons and liveries out onto nearby tracks and trails. Arena hire is offered to outside riders and liveries, subject to availability, and the whole site is supported by on-site stabling.
Accreditation comes through BHS-trained instructors, and lessons start from GBP 25 for a half hour joint private session at the livery rate. Crofton Manor Equestrian Centre is open Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00, and is closed on Mondays.
