Whiterails Farm

Norwich, Norfolk

BHS approved

Whiterails Farm operates as a British Horse Society approved livery yard set in Great Melton on the outskirts of Norwich. The yard runs full, part and DIY livery packages alongside a horse exercise service, giving owners a choice of how much day to day involvement they want in their horse's routine.

Three riding surfaces are available on site. A 60 metre by 30 metre floodlit main arena with an all-weather surface sits alongside a 40 metre by 20 metre sand school and a covered indoor schooling area, so lessons and schooling sessions can continue through poor weather and into the darker months. The facilities support dressage and show jumping work, and dressage facilities are provided on site.

Hacking is a central feature of the yard, with over seven miles of off-road rides accessible directly from the property and connections to more than twenty miles of additional off-road routes in the surrounding area, bringing the total network to over twenty-seven miles. A horse walker and hard standings are available for working and turning out horses, and security is taken seriously with gated access controlled by a time lock and a nightly security patrol.

The setting is rural yet convenient for Norwich, with customer parking on site and a coffee room for owners and visitors. Anyone interested in a place can contact the yard directly to discuss availability and current livery packages.
