A family-run riding establishment in Leigh-on-Sea, The Ramblers Riding Club And Pony Parties provides instruction and equestrian experiences aimed at beginners and younger riders. Group lessons are available alongside hacks and ride-and-groom sessions, allowing pupils to build both riding confidence and practical horse-care knowledge. The school teaches children and works with riders across a range of abilities.
Beyond regular lessons, the team delivers a broad programme of visits and party services. Birthday party packages run from GBP 200 to GBP 350 and take place in the on-site party room, with decorated pony visits and mobile petting parties offered for events held elsewhere in the community. Sessions for nurseries, schools and day centres are also part of the programme, together with animal therapy and dedicated SEN sessions that bring ponies into care and educational settings.
Set up as a stable yard with a party room, the establishment offers a practical environment focused on pony care, ridden activity and group participation rather than competitive disciplines. Hacking is the primary riding activity on offer, and staff work with visiting groups to tailor sessions to the age and experience of the participants. Mobile visits mean the team can travel to venues across the local area for parties, therapy work and educational workshops.
The Ramblers holds a current riding establishment licence under reference RDC/23/1499/ANWELF, meeting the welfare and safety requirements set by the local authority. It is accessible and welcomes group bookings from families, schools and care settings. Anyone interested in lessons, party bookings or school visits should contact the club directly using the details available on the school listing to confirm availability and arrange a session.
