Swingate Farm

Nottinghamshire

Swingate Farm is a long-established, family-run equestrian centre based in Kimberley, Nottinghamshire. The yard has built its reputation over many years of serving the local horse community, with a team made up of BHS registered equestrians who oversee daily operations and coaching.

Livery is the core offering at the centre, with full, part and DIY packages available so owners can choose the level of care that suits them and their horse. Bedding, feed, hay, haylage and straw are all supplied on site, alongside a rug wash, reproofing and repair service. Seasonal activities, charity rides, competition days and family fun days are arranged throughout the year, giving regular liveries and visitors plenty to take part in.

The facilities support a broad range of disciplines, including dressage, show jumping, eventing, endurance riding, horseball and hacking. Riders make use of a 40m by 40m floodlit outdoor arena, a round schooling pen, a grass field with log jumps and a horse walker. There is also hot and cold water for washing horses, lush grazing and parking for lorries and trailers. Security is taken seriously, with CCTV, motion sensors, electric gate access and guard dogs on the premises.

Located in the East Midlands, Swingate Farm sits within easy reach of Kimberley and the surrounding Nottinghamshire countryside, with hacking available directly from the yard. Anyone interested in livery, lessons or upcoming events can get in touch with the centre directly to discuss availability and current arrangements.
