Set across 27 acres of grassland in North Yorkshire, Camden Equestrian Centre provides extensive outdoor facilities within easy reach of the A1. The venue caters to a broad range of equestrian and non-equestrian activities, with two outdoor arenas measuring 40x40m and 70x55m, a half-mile all-weather track and 60 stables available for hire. Dressage markers and show jumps are on site, supporting training and competition work across dressage, show jumping, working hunter and harness racing.
Beyond regular equestrian use, the centre hosts training clinics, agility events, dog shows and private celebrations including birthday parties. Hard-standing parking, a grandstand and toilets support spectator events, while a bar and self-catering facilities with seating for 40 make the site practical for longer gatherings and hospitality. The all-weather track and grass acreage give organisers flexibility for both competitive and social occasions.
The venue operates as a hire facility rather than a riding school, meaning bookings are taken for competitions, training clinics, harness racing events and private celebrations rather than regular lessons. The 15 acres of grassland combined with the arenas and track make it suitable for sizeable equestrian shows and clinics requiring substantial space.
Located in the South West England region of the directory, Camden Equestrian Centre sits in Somerset with straightforward access from the A1 corridor. Those interested in hiring the venue for a competition, clinic or private event should contact the centre directly to discuss availability, pricing and the specific facilities required for their occasion.
