Oswestry Equestrian Centre in Shropshire provides riding lessons and hacking on the working farm and surrounding tracks. Located in the West Midlands region, the centre teaches beginners as well as more experienced riders, with tuition available for children and adults. Lessons focus on building confidence in the saddle and developing practical horsemanship skills.
For those wanting to get out and about, hacking and trekking are offered through farmland and local routes, giving riders the chance to experience the Shropshire countryside from horseback. The centre also runs pony club games and kids fun days during the school holidays, along with short pony experiences aimed at younger riders. A 30 minute kids ride starts from GBP 23.
The facilities at Oswestry Equestrian Centre include on-site parking, and the centre sits on a working farm, which adds to the rural setting. Riders benefit from being able to combine structured lessons with time spent outdoors on the farm and nearby tracks. The mix of instruction, hacking and holiday activities makes it accessible to a wide range of riders.
Oswestry Equestrian Centre is open Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year. Riders and parents can contact the centre directly for lesson bookings, hack availability and details of the next school holiday kids fun days. Anyone planning a first lesson or a returning rider looking for hacking in the Shropshire countryside can get in touch with the centre for further information.
