Chorley Equestrian

Bridgnorth, Shropshire

BHS approved

Chorley Equestrian is a British Horse Society approved livery yard and riding centre located near Bridgnorth in Shropshire. The centre runs onsite riding lessons and operates as a working livery yard, with direct access to local bridleways for those who want to take their horses out hacking from the gate.

Lessons are taught by a BHS registered instructor (BHSAI), with beginner riders catered for alongside more experienced riders who want to develop their hacking. Private 45 minute lessons start from GBP 15. The centre also takes bookings for private manege hire, giving riders the chance to school in the arena on their own or with friends.

Horses are looked after in American style Monarch stables, which include a foaling box, heated communal room, heated rug room and horse stocks. The floodlit outdoor manege has a mirrored wall and a solarium with showers for cooling down or warming up. Changing facilities and a disabled toilet are available on site, and a floodlit arena allows evening schooling. Daytime telephone enquiries are taken between 8am and 5pm, with the floodlit manege in use until 8.30pm from Monday to Friday in winter.

Livery packages at Chorley Equestrian cover full, part and assisted DIY arrangements, with holiday livery offered for owners heading away. The setting on the edge of Bridgnorth gives straightforward access to surrounding Shropshire countryside via the bridleway network. Enquiries can be made by phone to the centre during daytime hours.
