Eccleston Equestrian Centre operates from a 23-acre site on the edge of Leyland in Lancashire. The long-established riding and training venue offers lessons for adults and children, including complete beginners, with both private and shared sessions available. Riding is offered in dressage, show jumping and showing, supported by BHS training and assessments for riders working towards qualifications.
Children are well catered for through Pony Club rallies, camps and challenge awards, and there are structured holiday activity programmes during school breaks. The centre also runs the Changing Lives Through Horses alternative provision programme, and the team accommodates birthday parties with riding or non-riding formats. Facility hire is available to external riders and coaches, and full site hire supports camps and events.
Riders benefit from a 23m by 60m indoor arena with a wax surface and a 20m by 40m outdoor arena, also wax surfaced and floodlit for year-round use. The site includes a stable block with feed room and tack room, Scott of Thrapston looseboxes, monarch stocks, an all-weather paddock and a classroom with a lecture room. A cafe and on-site parking are available for visitors. Dressage competitions are held on the premises.
Eccleston Equestrian Centre holds BHS Approved Centre status and is a Pony Club Centre. Full livery is offered alongside holiday and short-term livery. Birthday parties for a standard group of seven or more children start at GBP 55 per child, arena hire from GBP 40 per hour, and BHS training sessions from GBP 60. The postcode is PR26 8LT.
