Bambers Green Riding Centre

Bambers Green Riding Centre is a long-established equestrian centre located in Takeley near Bishops Stortford, Essex. The centre operates as a British Horse Society approved facility and is also an NVQ training centre, a Pony Club centre member and an RDA member group, offering a broad programme of riding and horse care activities.

Riding tuition is available for complete beginners through to experienced riders, with group classes, hack outs, half day rides and birthday party rides on offer. Junior riders can take part in Pony Club activities and school holiday camps, while older riders and adults are catered for with BHS Horse Owners Levels 1 to 4 and BHS Road Safety training. Lesson prices start from GBP 12 for a children's half hour class or hack.

The site includes schools used for both teaching and livery clients, along with stabling for horses kept on the premises. Riders can develop their skills across dressage, show jumping and cross country disciplines, and the surrounding bridleway and farmland provide hacking directly from the yard. Competition opportunities are arranged throughout the year, alongside seasonal events such as Easter egg hunts and Halloween fun days.

Additional services include horse and pony lease and loan, transportation, school and coach trips, and full livery for owners looking to keep their horse on site. The centre sits in the Essex countryside close to Stansted Airport, with the postcode CM22 6PE. Anyone interested in lessons, livery or training can contact the centre directly to discuss availability and current arrangements.
