Turpins Lodge Riding School operates from Hook Norton near Banbury in Oxfordshire, set within the South East of England. The centre runs a busy programme covering riding lessons and hacking for riders from complete beginner through to experienced level. Group and individual instruction is available, with the team also catering for children through Tiny Tots sessions and dedicated Own a Pony Days.
Beyond regular lessons, the school hosts a varied calendar of clinics and events. Riders can take part in show jumping sessions, cross country clinics and dressage and flat work training, plus gymkhana events for those who enjoy a more competitive atmosphere. Birthday parties are offered on site, and during school holidays the centre runs holiday camps. The yard is Council licensed (rid0003) and holds ABRS Approved status, giving parents and riders an established benchmark of welfare and teaching standards.
Facilities on the ground support year round riding. There is an indoor school and an outdoor school for lessons in all weather, together with a showjumping paddock and grass gallops for hacking and schooling. The heated secure tack room provides storage for clients belongings, and on site stabling supports the full and shared livery services. Riders wanting a different experience can join one of the mystery hacks, pub rides or day rides that the centre organises from the yard.
Turpins Lodge Riding School is open Tuesday to Sunday, with lessons, hacks and clinics running across the week according to the published schedule. The yard is closed on Mondays. Visitors can find the centre at postcode OX15 5PN. Full contact details and the current timetable are available through the school's website, where bookings for lessons, livery and special events can be made.
