Tipton Hall Riding School
Bromyard, Herefordshire, County of
Tipton Hall Riding School is a British Horse Society approved centre set in the Herefordshire countryside near Bromyard. The centre is also a Pony Club Centre and holds a five star licence from Herefordshire Council. It welcomes riders of all ages and abilities, with experienced staff introducing complete beginners through to more confident riders returning to the saddle.
Lessons form the core of what the centre does, with prices starting from GBP 26 for a beginner child lesson. Group and private sessions cover flatwork, jumping and dressage, and the school runs regular jumping and dressage clinics for those looking to refine their technique. Hacking is offered across the surrounding lanes and bridleways, and the popular pub rides take groups out to a local hostelry. Cross country jumps are available on site for riders wanting to school over solid fences.
Facilities include an indoor arena and an outdoor arena with floodlighting, allowing lessons and training to continue regardless of the weather. There is a viewing window into the indoor arena, a tack room, parking for lorries and trailers, and a range of show jumps. Holiday pony camps, own a pony days and stable management courses run throughout the school holidays, and birthday parties can be arranged for younger riders. Pony Club members benefit from a full calendar of activities at the centre.
The school is open every day, all year round, by appointment only. Lessons and hacks run at varying times on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays as published. Gift vouchers are available for those wanting to give the experience of riding. Tipton Hall Riding School can be contacted at HR7 4PR and welcomes enquiries from new and returning riders across the West Midlands and beyond.
