Speetley Equestrian Centre operates as a facility hire venue on the outskirts of Chesterfield, serving riders across Derbyshire and the wider East Midlands. The centre is run by Hird and Partners Sheffield Equine Clinic, linking the venue to a well established equine veterinary practice.
The site is set up for riders wanting to train or school their own horses across a range of disciplines, including dressage, show jumping, eventing and cross country. Hire covers access to the arenas and the available training equipment, making the centre a practical option for independent riders, trainers booking sessions for clients, and clubs arranging training days or competitions.
Two outdoor arenas form the core of the facilities. The main arena measures 70 metres by 50 metres and is fitted with show jumps, while the second arena at 60 metres by 30 metres is suited to flat work and dressage. Cross country schooling is listed among the disciplines offered, suggesting off piste or grasswork elements are available as part of the hire. The straightforward outdoor set up is aimed at riders who are confident working their horses independently in an open arena environment.
Speetley Equestrian Centre is located at postcode S43 4TA in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. As a hire only venue, bookings and enquiries should be directed to Hird and Partners Sheffield Equine Clinic, which oversees the running of the centre. Anyone planning to attend should confirm arena availability, what to bring and any rules around the jumps and cross country elements before arriving.
