Silver Leys Polo Club operates as both a polo venue and a broader equestrian centre on a 120-acre estate near Ware in Hertfordshire. The club runs polo play and coaching through the Hertfordshire Polo Academy, alongside a range of other disciplines including dressage, show jumping, showing, mini-eventing and hacking. Lessons are available for beginners and children, with pony rides offered as a separate experience.
Members and visitors can take part in polo memberships, practice matches, team building sessions and tournament entry, while corporate events, experience days and weddings are also catered for. Park and Hack access, which includes horsebox parking and hacking across the estate, starts from GBP 10. Full livery is provided in the newly built livery yard on site.
The grounds include three grass polo pitches and a polo arena, set within open countryside suitable for hacking. Day-to-day facilities extend to a clubhouse bar, the Two and 5th Sin Cafe, a marquee venue for larger gatherings and secure horsebox parking. Polo Tournaments take place on Sundays from 10am to 7pm, giving spectators a regular chance to watch competitive play.
The Two and 5th Sin Cafe and clubhouse are open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 8pm. The postcode for satnav users is SG11 2ED, with Bishop's Stortford nearby. Those interested in lessons, livery or event bookings should contact the club directly through its website or social channels to confirm current availability and pricing.
