Pioneer Equestrian Coaching is a fully licensed private riding school based in Charlbury, West Oxfordshire, running seven days a week from 09:00 to 18:00. Lessons are structured around the Ride With Your Mind approach and biomechanics-based coaching, with private sessions starting from GBP 30 for a 30 minute slot. Teaching is offered at beginner level and extends through to children and more experienced riders, giving the school a steady intake of pupils who want focused, one-to-one instruction rather than group sessions.
The school caters to a broad range of equestrian interests. Dressage, show jumping, eventing and Le Trec are all taught on site, and Pony Club activities are supported for younger riders. Hacking is available on local bridleways, and a jumps field gives pupils space to work over coursework away from the main arena. Practice sessions let riders school their own or a hired horse without a coach present, while regular clinics bring in external trainers for dressage, jumping or biomechanics work.
Facilities centre on a 30m x 50m outdoor arena with a grass surface adjacent, plus a horse walker, turnout paddocks, stables, a tack room, a wash box and a kitchen and tea area for clients. Livery is offered for owners wanting full or part-time care, and horse share arrangements pair riders with share horses on a structured basis. Complimentary services include Equine Touch bodywork sessions for the horses.
The premises sit at postcode OX7 3RP and are licensed by West Oxfordshire District Council. The operator is a qualified Ride With Your Mind coach and an Equine Touch practitioner. Contact is made directly with the school to arrange lessons, view livery options or book onto upcoming clinics.
