North Cray & Sidcup Riding School is a family-run equestrian centre based in Sidcup within the London Borough of Bexley. The school welcomes riders from the age of four upwards and provides instruction, hacking, livery and a number of additional services throughout the week. Group and private lessons are available alongside group and private hacks, giving riders the chance to develop their skills both in the school and out on local routes.
Beginners and children are catered for, and the centre runs pony days and birthday parties aimed at younger riders. Tuition covers flatwork, jumping and cross country, with competitions and shows also hosted on site for those who want to put their training into practice. Whether a rider is taking their first lead-rein lesson or progressing towards more advanced work, the school offers a structured pathway.
The facilities include two rubber sand schools measuring 23 by 45 metres and 24 by 40 metres, an indoor riding arena and an outdoor arena. There is also a horse walker, paddocks, stabling and hard standing for horsebox parking. Riders and visitors can make use of the on-site cafe and toilets, and parking is available on site. Livery is offered on a full basis.
The school is licensed and operates from Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the same hours on Saturdays and Sundays. The postcode is DA14 5EZ. Group lessons and group hacks start from GBP 32 per hour. For enquiries or to book, the riding school can be contacted directly.
