Llangorse Riding Centre

Brecon, Powys

BHS approved

Llangorse Riding Centre sits within a 500 acre arable farm on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, and forms part of a wider multi activity centre in Powys. Riders can take flatwork, hacking, pony trekking and show jumping sessions, and the centre runs a full programme including beginner rides, lessons, pony camps, children's riding holidays, clear rounds and fun rides across the year.

The school welcomes complete beginners through to experienced riders, with supervised pony rides and dedicated children's sessions for younger visitors. Group and private lessons are available, and regular riding clinics give returning riders a chance to work on specific skills. Birthday parties, corporate team building days and school trips are all catered for, drawing on the centre's experience with groups of varying sizes and abilities.

Facilities extend well beyond the stables. The site includes an indoor adventure centre, an indoor climbing wall, self catering cottages, bunkhouses, camping pods, a campsite, tipis and an on site cafe, so families and groups can turn a lesson into a longer visit. Riders benefit from direct access to countryside suitable for hacking, with the wider farm and surrounding landscape providing plenty of room to ride out.

The centre is listed on the British Horse Society approved register and operates from postcode LD3 7UH near Brecon. Booking is arranged directly through the centre, and visitors are advised to get in touch to confirm availability for lessons, hacks, pony camps and group bookings. The combination of accredited tuition, varied facilities and a rural Brecon Beacons setting makes Llangorse Riding Centre a practical choice for riders across Powys and south Wales.
