Greenmeadow Riding Centre

Greenmeadow Riding Centre is based within Dare Valley Country Park in Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taf, giving riders direct access to off-road hacking on the surrounding parkland. The centre is BHS approved and holds recognition as a Pony Club centre and a Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) group, providing a structured setting for lessons and group activities.

Lessons cater for beginners through to more experienced riders, with dedicated children's courses and riding lessons for school groups available alongside individual and group sessions. The centre runs Pony Club activities and fun days, hosts birthday parties, and offers disabled riding sessions through its RDA membership, making it accessible to a wide range of riders. Off-road hacking is available on the country park trails.

On-site facilities include an outdoor arena with jumps, a play area and a small animal farm that younger visitors tend to enjoy. The stable yard offers grazing land, a tack room and full livery services for owners. A cafe, tack shop selling riding supplies, and toilets are also on the premises, allowing visitors to spend a full day at the centre.

Greenmeadow Riding Centre is located at CF44 7PT in Aberdare. Visitors can combine a ride with a walk around the country park, refreshments in the cafe, or a browse in the tack shop. The team can be contacted directly for lesson bookings, livery enquiries, party arrangements and RDA sessions.
