CCR Equestrian is a privately owned equestrian facility set in Brookthorpe, on the edge of Gloucester in the South West of England. The site is built around a 100m x 50m outdoor arena with an Andrews Bowen Prowax surface, and it functions as both a competition venue and a working yard. Riders and owners can hire the arena for dressage, show jumping and arena eventing, and the calendar includes both affiliated and unaffiliated competitions as well as clear rounds.
The yard provides full livery and a dedicated rehab livery service run through the on-site CCR Barn. Equine rehabilitation is supported by a water treadmill and solarium sessions, giving owners a local option for recovering horses alongside the usual schooling and competition work. Livery clients have access to 12 stables, a 50m x 40m loose jump arena, a PA room with sound system and parking on site.
Disciplines covered at the centre are arena eventing, dressage and show jumping, and the school is accredited with British Showjumping for its affiliated classes. Arena hire, dressage arena hire, show jumping course hire, loose jump hire and full venue hire are all available, so the site is used by individuals, clubs and event organisers throughout the week.
The facility is open seven days a week from 7AM to 7PM, making it straightforward to fit lessons, clinics or competition prep around a working schedule. Visitors to the yard can also make use of the country store and cafe on site. The postcode for sat nav users is GL4 0XA, and enquiries about livery, arena hire, competitions and rehabilitation services can be made by contacting CCR Equestrian directly in Brookthorpe.
