Carrington Riding Centre Ltd is a family-run riding school based in Carrington, Manchester, within the Trafford area of the North West of England. The centre teaches riders aged 10 and over, taking complete beginners through to experienced riders across a range of abilities.
Lessons are offered on a private or semi-private basis, with sessions running on four floodlit outdoor arenas. This setup allows riding to continue into the evening and gives the school room to keep group sizes small. Pricing starts from GBP 35 for a 30 minute private lesson, and bookings can be made by contacting the centre directly.
The site includes free parking and dedicated viewing areas for parents and guardians who wish to watch from the sidelines. The four floodlit arenas give a consistent training surface throughout the year, while the family-run operation keeps the atmosphere informal and focused on steady progression. Riders are taught by staff working within a BHS approved centre, and the school also holds BHS Highly Commended status for 2026.
Carrington Riding Centre Ltd is 5-star licensed by Trafford Council and sits on the British Horse Society approved register.
