Bulby Hall Equestrian Centre

Bourne, Lincolnshire

BHS approved

Bulby Hall Equestrian Centre sits just outside Bourne in South Lincolnshire and operates as both a British Horse Society approved riding establishment and a Pony Club Centre. Riders of all ages and abilities are catered for, from first time beginners through to more experienced competitors. Group and private lessons are offered on a lead rein or ridden basis, with sessions running throughout the week and at weekends.

Children and younger riders are a central part of the centre's work. Alongside standard lessons, the school runs Pony Club activities, saddle club sessions, badge nights, pony parties and birthday parties. During school holidays, dedicated holiday camps give children a chance to spend extended time with the ponies. More experienced riders can take part in disciplines including show jumping, dressage, polocrosse and cross country, with cross country fences and a jump field available on site.

The facilities include a floodlit outdoor arena with mirrors, show jumps and grass dressage arenas. Hacking is well supported, with local hacks plus longer rides such as deer safari hacks and pub rides for those wanting to get out of the school. The centre is accessible, offers parking on site and provides stabling for liveries, with care and ride sessions also part of the offering.

Opening hours run from 8.30am to 7pm on Monday through Friday and from 8.30am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. The school is licensed by South Kesteven District Council. Prices start from around GBP 3 for an Owls Club evening session, with the cheapest ridden tuition being a 15 minute lesson or private from GBP 20.50 to GBP 22. Contact details and booking information can be obtained directly from the centre at postcode PE10 0RU.
