Bradwell Equestrian Livery Stables operates as Moody Dressage from a professional yard between Sheffield and Barnsley in South Yorkshire. The yard is run by sisters Hannah and Becky Moody, both holding the British Dressage Coach Educator qualification alongside UKCC Level 3, and the focus is dressage training delivered on clients' own horses. Riders bring their own horses to the yard for schooling, with sessions shaped to the horse and combination rather than to a fixed package.
Training is offered through several formats to suit different commitments. Regular lessons take place on site, and the sisters also travel to run clinics across the UK for riders who cannot attend in person. For those wanting a more concentrated block of work, residential training stays are available, giving riders the chance to spend several days at the yard with their horse and work through a planned programme of dressage schooling.
The facilities are built around the demands of dressage training. A 20x60 outdoor school provides generous space for working on longer movements and extended gaits, while a 20x40 indoor school fitted with mirrors allows year-round training regardless of weather. Hook up facilities are available for those bringing lorries or trailers to clinics or residential stays, which is helpful for competitors travelling with their horses.
The yard is located in the S36 postcode area between Sheffield and Barnsley, with road access from the M1 corridor. Beyond dressage, the Moodys' background covers eventing, which informs the way horses are produced and ridden. Riders interested in lessons, clinics or residential stays should contact the yard directly to discuss availability, as places on the coaching schedule and on residential blocks are limited by the diary.
