Bogenraith Equestrian is a purpose-built equestrian centre located in Royal Deeside on the outskirts of Banchory, Aberdeenshire. Set against the backdrop of the Aberdeenshire countryside, the centre caters to riders and horse owners across Scotland, combining competition facilities with a full range of equestrian services on a single site.
The centre runs livery packages including full and assisted livery, alongside ad-hoc stabling for visiting horses. There are 50 bespoke stables on site, supported by practical yard features such as four hot water wash bays, a hay steamer, four farrier bays and an eight-stall horse walker. Livery clients have access to a 20x40 indoor arena and a 20x60 outdoor dressage arena, both maintained to competition standard, with the indoor school offering an 80x40 waxed surface.
Riders of all levels are catered for through dressage, show jumping, arena eventing and cross country, with a cross country course running from 70cm through to novice level. The eventing arena and horse and rider collecting ring support both training and competition use, while arena hire is available to outside riders. Hire services also include horse box and horse trailer hire, day stabling and lorry and trailer storage. Regular competitions and events are hosted throughout the year.
The on-site Fern Restaurant opens daily from 9am and the Horse Shoe Bar from 11am to 11pm, making the centre suitable for spectators and social visits as well as equestrian use. Bogenraith Equestrian holds a Visit Scotland 4 star rating and Taste Our Best accreditation, and is listed on the British Horse Society approved register. Wash bay hire is priced from £18, with arena hire from £36, day stabling from £25 and trailer hire from £48 for the first day. The postcode for sat nav users is AB31 6DS.
