Aintree International Equestrian Centre

Sefton

Aintree International Equestrian Centre operates as a busy equestrian venue situated between Perth and Dundee, sharing its grounds with the original Inchcoonans Equestrian competition and livery yard. Riders can take lessons at the centre, with experienced instructors catering to children as well as adult riders. Holiday camps run during school breaks, giving younger riders a chance to spend structured time around horses.

The centre works across a broad range of disciplines, including showjumping, dressage, arena eventing, cross country, working hunter and PowerX. Regular schooling evenings, pre-show training sessions and clinics form part of the weekly programme, and on-site shows give competitors a chance to put their training into practice. Hackers are also welcome, with access to tracks around the surrounding area.

Facilities include all-weather tracks, a gallops for fast work, a horse walker, a solarium, a heated tack room and a communal kitchen. Stabling is available for liveries, with paddocks and a turnout pen supporting daily turnout. The PowerX course can be hired separately, and clinics feature a roster of visiting trainers such as Jane Gilchrist, whose shared lessons start from GBP 20 per rider for one hour.

Full livery is offered on site, making the centre a practical base for owners who want their horses kept on a competition-ready routine. Located in the Sefton area of North West England, the centre sits within reasonable travelling distance of Liverpool and the surrounding towns. Riders interested in lessons, camps or livery can contact Aintree International Equestrian Centre directly for current availability and pricing.
