Aintree Equestrian Centre operates as an event and competition venue within the grounds of Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. The centre hosts a busy calendar of affiliated and unaffiliated competitions throughout the year, with dressage, show jumping and showing forming the core of the programme. Organisers and riders can also book the indoor arena on a hire basis for clinics, training sessions and bring-your-own-horse competitions, making it a flexible option for clubs and individuals across the North West.
The indoor arena is supported by a full suite of competition facilities, including a sand pit, judges and commentators box, PA system, show offices and a solarium. Spectators and competitors benefit from on-site catering in the cafe and canteen, while those travelling with horses or floats are catered for with hard standing horsebox parking and free car parking. Disabled access is available throughout the public areas of the venue.
Beyond its core equestrian use, the centre is well placed for corporate and private functions, with arena hire available for conferences, exhibitions, corporate dinners and horse sales. Lodge accommodation on site allows competitors travelling from further afield to stay within walking distance of the arenas, which is a useful option during longer multi-day events.
The centre holds a listing on the British Horse Society approved register and sits within easy reach of Liverpool city centre, the M57 and M58 motorways, and the wider Sefton area. The office is open seven days a week from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm, and anyone wishing to book arena hire, enter a competition or enquire about an upcoming clinic can contact the team directly during those hours for fixture lists, pricing and availability.
