Founded in 1989, The Kiln Equestrian Centre is a family-run centre serving riders across Farnham and the wider Hampshire area. The chief instructor holds BHS AI Int'l qualification, and lessons are delivered for children and adults of all abilities, from complete beginners through to experienced competitors. Group sessions start from GBP 55 for one hour, with private and semi-private options also available. Riders preparing for British Horse Society exams can work through structured training, and regular clinics are hosted by resident Grand Prix trainers alongside visiting coaches.
The school caters to a wide age range. Children can join the Pony Club centre, take part in pony weeks and school holiday riding programmes, or attend the holiday camps held during school breaks. Adults can book lessons, join competition mentoring programmes, or sign up for adult riding holidays. Group lessons run throughout the week, with the centre open seven days. Saturday sessions run from 9.30am to 6.00pm and Sunday from 9.30am to 4.00pm, while weekday hours vary, with Wednesday evenings the latest finish at 8.30pm.
Two arenas give year-round training options: a 60m x 30m indoor arena of Olympic size and a separate outdoor arena. Disciplines taught include dressage, flatwork, show jumping, cross country and forest riding, with hacking available on local routes. The site also offers 24-hour supervision and on-site security, turnout land, and an on-site equine veterinary practice for the horses kept on the premises.
Livery packages include schooling, working, full and competition options, with monthly bronze, silver and gold packages also offered. The centre additionally hires horses for film and photography work. Located in Farnham, Hampshire, the postcode is GU10 4JZ. Riders and liveries can contact The Kiln Equestrian Centre directly to discuss bookings, lesson availability and current pricing.
