Telford Equestrian Centre

Telford and Wrekin

Telford Equestrain Centre operates as a BHS and ABRS approved riding school serving riders across Telford and the surrounding Shropshire area. Tuition is available through group lessons and structured clinics, covering dressage, show jumping and hacking, with instruction suitable for complete beginners and younger riders. Lessons are priced from GBP 25 for a half hour walkabout session, giving newcomers an accessible introduction before committing to longer bookings.

A full programme of equestrian activities is on offer beyond the lesson schedule. Livery packages are provided from the on site stabling, and the centre acts as a base for pony club members, who can take part in rallies and activities throughout the year. Owners and riders looking for extra mileage can take advantage of off road hacking directly from the yard, or hire the facilities for clinics and competitions.

The facilities are anchored by a 25m x 50m indoor arena, allowing lessons and events to continue regardless of the weather. Outside, riders can choose between two all weather arenas, measuring 30m x 40m and 30m x 60m respectively, alongside a round pen and a horse walker. CCTV coverage is in place across the yard, and a horse transport service is available for clients needing to move their animals. Trekking and hacking rides round out the day to day offering.

Opening hours run from 11am to 6pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with weekend sessions from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. The centre is closed on Monday and Tuesday. Enquiries about lessons, livery, pony club membership or facility hire can be directed to Telford Equestrian Centre at their yard in Telford and Wrekin, West Midlands.
