Stag Lodge 2 is a London riding school situated on Robin Hood Way in Kingston upon Thames. The school provides a broad programme of riding lessons and courses aimed at both children and adults, ranging from first introductions through to more experienced riders who want to progress their skills.
Lessons are offered in private, group and lunge formats, with ride and lead sessions available for the youngest riders. A pony squad gives regular pupils the chance to develop their abilities, and pony week courses run during school holidays. BHS courses and horse care courses are available for those working towards qualifications, while hacking on local routes gives riders a chance to take their horses out beyond the school grounds.
The site includes arenas and stables, supporting the lessons on offer as well as the school's livery service. Show jumping is taught alongside hacking, and birthday parties can be arranged for groups of children who want to spend time at the stables.
Beginners and children are welcomed, and the school holds BHS accredited status. Opening hours are Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm. The school is closed on Mondays and Thursdays. The postcode for visitors is SW20 0AA.
