Somerby Equestrian Centre

Somerby Equestrian Centre operates as a small, family-run DIY livery yard in the Leicestershire countryside near Melton Mowbray. The yard provides a practical base for owners who want to look after their own horses while making use of the centre's stabling and riding facilities on site.

DIY livery is the core service on offer, with both indoor and outdoor stables available. Horses are turned out across dedicated summer and winter fields, and a horse walker is provided to support routine exercise. Haylage can be bought directly from the yard, which is useful for liveries wanting to keep feed and bedding sourced in one place.

Riders benefit from two arenas. The indoor arena allows year-round schooling away from the worst of the East Midlands weather, while the outdoor arena gives extra space for flatwork or jumping in better conditions. Both arenas can be hired separately, and overnight stabling is also offered for horses passing through or visiting the area.

The postcode for sat-nav users is LE14 2PP. The yard sits within easy reach of Melton Mowbray and the surrounding Leicestershire villages, with road links towards Leicester, Nottingham and Grantham. Anyone interested in livery, arena hire or haylage should contact Somerby Equestrian Centre directly to discuss availability, pricing and current arrangements.
