Snowball Farm Equestrian Centre is a family-run riding school and livery yard located in Slough on the edge of the Buckinghamshire countryside. Set across 130 acres, the centre is listed on the British Horse Society approved register and also holds approval from the ABRS, giving riders a recognised standard of instruction and horse care to work from.
Lessons are available from beginner level through to advanced, with dedicated teaching for children and a Pony Club branch on site. Riders can choose group or individual sessions across the core disciplines of dressage, show jumping, eventing and hacking. The school runs a busy competition calendar covering dressage, show jumping and eventing, and additional activities include own a pony days, pony days, training clinics and holiday and summer camps.
Facilities support year-round riding. There is an indoor arena and a floodlit outdoor arena, so lessons and schooling can continue through the darker months. A horse walker, individual stables, indoor stabling, a feed room, a tack room and a wash off area are all on site, and there is parking for visitors. Hacking from the farm is a particular feature, with bridle path access to Burnham Beeches providing miles of off-road riding straight from the yard.
Snowball Farm is also affiliated to British Dressage and British Showjumping, supporting members who want to compete under those governing bodies. The site is licensed by Buckinghamshire Council. The office is open from 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, closing Wednesday afternoons, with limited cover at weekends. The postcode is SL1 8EH, making it accessible from Slough, Maidenhead and the wider South East England area. Riders interested in lessons, livery or upcoming competitions are encouraged to contact the office to check availability and pricing.
