Sandwell Valley Riding Centre

West Bromwich, Sandwell

Sandwell Valley Riding Centre is a family-run ABRS-registered establishment located in West Bromwich, within the Sandwell area of the West Midlands. The centre provides horse riding lessons from the age of four upwards, making it accessible to young children as well as to older beginners and returning riders. Group and private sessions are available, with teaching offered to those with little or no prior experience.

Facilities on site include stables, and the surrounding countryside is used for hacking and pony hacking. Group hacks and private hacks are both offered, alongside pony days and pony grooming sessions. Riders who wish to bring their own horse can choose from full livery or DIY livery arrangements, giving flexibility for owners who want varying levels of on-site support.

Beyond regular lessons, the centre runs school holiday day camps and birthday parties, and also provides home tutoring. Children and families are a particular focus, with a programme designed to introduce younger riders to horses in a supervised setting. Group lessons for children start from GBP 16 for a 30 minute session, providing an entry point for those trying riding for the first time.

The centre is open from 9:30 to 17:00 on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 8:30 to 16:30 on Saturday and Sunday, and is closed on Tuesdays. It holds ABRS registration and is situated at postcode B71 3SU in West Bromwich, in the West Midlands region. Enquiries about lessons, hacking, livery or events can be made by contacting the centre directly.
