Rutland Polo Club is an Hurlingham Polo Association accredited polo club set in open countryside near Oakham in the East Midlands. The school operates exclusively as a polo venue, with two full size boarded polo pitches and an outdoor arena supporting chukkas, club matches and polo tournaments throughout the playing season.
The club caters for players who already have a grounding in polo and want regular fixture play, as well as for organisations looking to entertain clients. Standard services include club matches, sponsorship opportunities and corporate hospitality, with a clubhouse and a pitchside marquee providing space for social events and match day viewing alongside the action on the field.
Facilities are designed around the demands of the sport rather than general riding. The two boarded pitches allow games to run on adjacent fields simultaneously, which is useful during tournament days and inter club fixtures. Members and visiting teams make use of the clubhouse as a base between chukkas, with the marquee offering additional covered space for larger functions and sponsored events.
Practical details for visitors are straightforward. The postcode LE7 4UF leads to the site near Oakham in Leicestershire, and enquiries about membership, sponsorship, hospitality or upcoming fixtures are handled directly through the club. Hurlingham Polo Association accreditation confirms that the club plays to recognised national standards for the sport.
