New Range Riding School & Rescue Centre
Peterborough
New Range Riding School & Rescue Centre operates as a BHS-approved and fully licensed riding school serving riders in and around Peterborough in the East of England. Tuition is offered in a range of formats, including private, semi-private, group and lead-rein lessons, alongside dedicated stable management sessions. The school welcomes beginners and children, and instructors work with disabled or special-needs riders as part of the centre's accessible provision.
Pony Club activities form a core part of the diary, with both day sessions and a residential camp available during school holidays. Riders can take part in dressage, flatwork, show jumping and cross-country work, and the school is also a recognised Pony Club centre. Disciplines are taught by BHS approved instructors in a structured setting that allows progression from first lessons through to more advanced competition preparation.
The facilities include a 40m x 25m floodlit indoor sand arena and a larger 60m x 32m outdoor sand and fibre arena. Around 30 stables are fitted with rubber matting and automatic drinkers, and there is a horse walker on site. Hacking is available by prior arrangement outside the core opening hours of 8.00 to 6.00, seven days a week. Show jumps are kept to BHS and FEI standard across the grounds.
The centre sits on roughly 31 acres of post-and-rail and electric-fenced grazing, with a private driveway and ample car parking for visitors. Escorted hacks, own-a-pony days and livery services are all available, with further amenities such as a solarium and hot and cold wash-down area planned. Contact details and current pricing can be obtained directly from the school.
