Merseyside Equestrian Centre operates as a family-run, BHS registered private livery yard set in the village of Cronton on the edge of Widnes, within the borough of Knowsley. The centre provides full livery and competition livery alongside a structured lesson programme, giving riders and owners access to professional day-to-day horse care as well as instruction in dressage and show jumping. Lessons are available on the flat and over jumps.
The livery service covers the routine side of horse ownership in depth. Services include clipping, grooming, lunging, walker exercise, ridden horse exercising and competition production, with sale livery offered for those looking to market their horse through the yard. Horses are also bred and produced on site for sale. Riders wanting to compete in dressage or show jumping can be supported through schooling, fitness work and the production of horses for events.
Facilities are centred on an outdoor arena that is floodlit for evening and winter use. Horses are accommodated in a mix of indoor and outdoor stables, with grazing paddocks, individual tack lockers, a wash box, a solarium, a horse walker and a lunge pen supporting daily routines. CCTV is in operation across the site. An equine farm shop on the premises allows owners to pick up feed, bedding and supplies alongside their regular visits.
The yard sits at postcode WA8 5PS in North West England and is open from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Sunday. Its BHS registered status reflects ongoing oversight by the British Horse Society. Riders and owners interested in lessons, livery or the sale and production side of the business can visit the centre during opening hours or contact the yard directly for further information on availability and pricing.
