Mary Marsh Equestrian

Warrington

Mary Marsh Equestrian operates as a riding school based in Warrington, in the North West of England, with a broad programme of lessons and rides on offer. The school teaches riders of all ages, from young children taking their first lessons through to adult students. Beginners are welcome and can start alongside more experienced riders in the structured lesson programme.

Lessons take place on a regular weekly basis, with the school running dedicated adult and student sessions as well as separate children's lessons during the week and on Saturdays. A children's holiday activity programme is also offered during school breaks, giving younger riders a chance to spend time at the yard outside of term time. Riders can work on flatwork and show jumping, with a course of jumps set up in the outdoor arena.

The outdoor arena, or menage, is the main teaching space and is suitable for lessons in a range of disciplines. In addition to arena work, the school offers hacking and longer rides, and beach rides are available for those wanting to take their riding off the road. The school also runs a Pony Experience event for riders who want a shorter, less formal introduction to horses.

Mary Marsh Equestrian holds accreditation from the Association of British Riding Schools and is licensed by the local council. Opening times are governed by daylight hours, with sessions running from Tuesday to Friday for adults and students, on Saturdays for children's lessons, and on Sundays for adults and students. Child lessons start from GBP 20 per hour for riders aged four up to school age, providing a starting point for new pupils. Anyone interested in booking a lesson or finding out more should contact the school directly.
