MA Equestrian Centre

MA Equestrian Centre is a riding school and alternative provision centre based in Northampton, operating from a site within West Northamptonshire. The centre is listed on the British Horse Society approved register and holds a five star licence from West Northamptonshire Council, reflecting its compliance with local authority standards for riding establishments.

Group and private riding lessons are available for beginners and children, with a clear focus on show jumping as the primary discipline. The centre also runs home education lessons, allowing young riders who are not in mainstream schooling to continue their education while learning to ride. Holiday pony camps are held during school breaks, giving children extended time with the horses and structured progression across the days.

Beyond standard riding tuition, MA Equestrian delivers a number of BHS-linked programmes. These include Pony Stars and BHS Challenge Awards, which provide a structured awards pathway for young riders. The centre is also an approved delivery site for Changing Lives through Horses, alongside the Explorers, Achievers and EOTAS frameworks, and offers Personal Development Qualifications (PDQs). Birthday pony parties are hosted on site for children looking for an active celebration.

Stabling is available on the premises, supporting the welfare of the horses used across lessons and programmes. The postcode for visitors is NN6 8AB. Anyone interested in lessons, pony camps, parties or the alternative provision programmes should contact the centre directly to discuss availability, pricing and booking arrangements.
