Llannerch Equestrian Centre
St Asaph, Denbighshire
Llannerch Equestrian Centre is a Pony Club approved training and livery yard located between Denbigh and St Asaph in North Wales, at postcode LL17 0BD. Set on a working farm with access to private woodland, the centre provides a rural base for riders who want to school, hack, and compete locally.
The school offers private and group lessons on a rider's own horse or pony, with instruction available in show jumping, cross country, hacking and general schooling. Lessons run in two arenas: a 20m by 40m floodlit indoor school fitted with mirrors and a viewing gallery, and a 25m by 45m floodlit outdoor school. There is also an all weather circular riding track for warm ups and canter work, and a set of portable cross country fences for practice sessions.
Off road hacking is available directly from the yard, riding across the farm and through private woodland. This, combined with the show jumps and the cross country fences, gives riders plenty of variety without needing to travel. There is ample parking for trailers and horseboxes on site, and onsite haylage is produced for those wanting to buy feed in.
Livery packages include DIY, assisted and full livery, with services such as mucking out, feeding, turn out, rug changing, bring in and clipping available. Stabling is provided in an indoor barn, with individual feed and bedding storage and locked tack rooms. Summer and winter grazing paddocks are on site. The centre holds Pony Club approved centre status. Contact details can be found through their website or by visiting the yard in person.
