Hyde Park Stables - Horse Riding Central London

Hyde Park Stables operates as a riding school in the heart of Central London, providing horse riding lessons and hacks to local riders and visitors. The school sits on the edge of Hyde Park and runs arena lessons alongside private and semi-private hacks through the park itself, giving riders the unusual chance to hack across central London's largest green space. Sessions are available for adults and children aged four and over, with instruction aimed at complete beginners through to more experienced riders.

Lessons take place in the school's outdoor arena, which is used for both flatwork and show jumping practice. Riders can book arena lessons on a one-off basis or arrange a course of lessons to build skills progressively over time. Hacking is offered as private or semi-private rides, with small group sizes so each rider can receive attention from the instructor while enjoying a ride through Hyde Park's bridleways.

The stables hold a current licence and are open seven days a week, with the first ride of the day scheduled at 9am and the final ride starting at 3pm. Prices begin at GBP 115 per person per hour for a Semi-Private Lesson Ride or an Arena Lesson, which covers the typical entry point for new riders booking their first session. This pricing applies to both adult and child riders, making the school accessible to families as well as individual adults looking to learn.

Hyde Park Stables is located in Westminster, London, with the postcode W2 2SB. The position on the edge of Hyde Park makes it straightforward to reach by London Underground and bus, and it serves as a practical option for anyone living or working in central London who wants to ride regularly without travelling to the suburbs. Riders can book sessions directly with the school to confirm availability and arrange their first lesson.
