Highland Horse Fun is a family-run equestrian centre operating under BHS Highly Commended status. Based in Kingussie in the Scottish Highlands, the centre combines a working livery yard with an extensive programme of training, competition and facility hire services aimed at riders across the disciplines.
The centre offers a full range of livery options, including grass, DIY, assisted DIY and full livery, with american barn stabling and outdoor stables available on site. Riders can take advantage of hacking from the yard, while the on-site pony club provides regular rallies and a clear pathway for younger or less experienced riders looking to progress.
Facilities include a 42m x 20m indoor arena and a 62m x 28m waxed sand and fibre outdoor arena, both floodlit, alongside a floodlit lunge pen. A cross country course is maintained on the premises, and the arenas can be hired in 30 minute slots. CCTV and alarm systems are in place across the site, and there is parking for lorries and trailers. B&B accommodation is available for visiting competitors or course attendees.
Highland Horse Fun hosts an active competition calendar covering show jumping, dressage, eventing, hunter trials, cross country schooling days and one day events, and also runs training clinics. Arena hire starts from GBP 115 per month for grass livery, with arena slots bookable separately. Enquiries can be directed to the centre at Glencairn, Kingussie, Highland PH21 1ER.
